Bivort and Bavay's Annales de Pomologie Belge et Étrangère
These fine, hand-colored lithographs are from the rare work entitled Annales de Pomologie Belge et Étrangère (Annals of Belgian and Foreign Pomology). The well-known Alexandre Bivort authored this work along with Seraph Bavay. It was published in Brussels by F. Parent in 1857 by the Royal Commission of the Pomological Institute by the Belgian King. It is from the fifth year (Cinquième Année) of the work. They are on fine, woven paper, with a light creme tint.
