Henry Bradbury's Nature Printed British Ferns
These fine botanical prints are from the work entitled Nature Printed British Ferns. It was written by Thomas Moore, nature printed by Henry Bradbury, and published by (William) Bradbury and Evans in London in 1859. Henry Bradbury perfected nature printing in the 1850s, in which an impression of the actual plant is created, leaving a lifelike representation with visible fibers and veins. They are on fine woven paper that measures approximately 6 1/4" by 9 1/2".
