Les Dessous de L’homme Chic was published in Paris is 1921. It illustrates the latest in fashion for the stylish Parisian man of the early 1920's. The plates illustrate men in sporting attire, at dinner, their collars, ties, hanker chiefs, gloves, canes, etc. all in a decorative setting.

The pochoir work is a splendid set of plates using 5 different paper tones. Pochoir is a French word for stenciling. It was introduced to French commercial printing in the late 1800s. The labor intensive process uses up to 250 different stencils to aid the hand application of each color. These prints represent pochoir printing at its finest, during the 1920's.

The plate are on fine paper measuring 9 1/4" by 12 1/4".
