Description of Edmondson's A Complete Body of Heraldry
These fine engravings are from Joseph Edmondson's work entitled A Complete Body of Heraldry. Published in London in 1780, this is a wonderful collection of nobility crests, often accompanied by family trees. The hand-coloring has been professionally added recently. They are on fine chain-linked paper and measure ~ 14" by 21".
