Horticultural Transactions
These fine botanical steel aquatints were published between 1807-1842 in the Transactions of the Horticultural Society of London series. They were issued in two series consisting of several volumes each. All of these great prints feature exceptional original hand coloring, and high attention to detail allowed by the newly introduced steel engraving plate.
Various artists and engravers involved in this collection were W. Hooker, J. Clark, Mrs. Withers, W. Clark, E.D. Smith, and W. Say.
They are on fine woven paper that measures ~ 11" by 9" and up.
