These very decorative Art Nouveau plates are from Gustav Kolb & Karl Gmelich’s Von Der Pflanze Zum Ornament. The plates show the decorative use of plants and flowers in ornamentation. Some plates show the patterns, while others show how the patterns were derived from shapes found in nature. Many plates feature iridescent gold colouring that blends beautifully with the deep, rich tones.

The prints are on fine paper measuring 13 1/2″ by 20″.
